All GCISD elementary and middle schools hosted spelling bees at their respective campuses from November 15-December 17. First place winners now advance to compete with Carroll ISD campus winners in the Area Bee competition, and the winner then advances to compete in the Regional Bee. The Regional Bee winner will earn a spot to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Dates for the area, regional and national bee are yet to be announced.
