Mrs. Liz Hilcher

Hello! I am thrilled to start my second year as the principal of Timberline Elementary and look forward to getting to know your family and your students. We are so fortunate at Timberline to be a Leader In Me campus and to offer monolingual (English only) and dual language (English and Spanish) programming for our students.  Our staff is truly passionate about honoring the unique differences that we each possess and cultivating student leaders.  I hope that you will ask your child to teach you all about Stephen Covey's 7 Habits throughout the school year.  We will be setting goals, tracking our progress and empowering today's learners to become tomorrow's leaders!  We are thrilled to instill #TigerPride in all of our students and to partner with you in their education. We are #StrongerTogether.

To tell you a little about myself, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. I completed my Master's degree at The University of Texas in Arlington. I was blessed to start my teaching career in Grapevine-Colleyville over twenty years ago. I have worked at some amazing campuses across GCISD in the following roles:
Silver Lake Elementary: taught first, second and third grade & Learning Liaison
O.C. Taylor Elementary: Assistant Principal
Grapevine Elementary: Principal

I live in Grapevine with my husband, three daughters and two labrador retrievers. All of our children have benefitted from dedicated teachers across GCISD.  We currently have a 7th grader, an 11th grader and a college sophomore at OSU.  We are blessed to be a part of the GCISD community and to be a part of the Timberline family like you!
