Hi, my name is Shannon Baker!
Hello students and parents! I'm excited I get to be your child’s Pre-K Teacher this school year! I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2001 and worked in law enforcement for 15 years. After a rewarding career, I felt a new calling and decided it was time to pursue another passion, Teaching! I was the Science Lab Teachers Aide at Fredericksburg Elementary school while I pursued my teaching certification. I obtained my certification in EC-6, STR (Science of Teaching Reading), and ESL. I’m a wife, raised four awesome kids, love dogs and everything Disney! I want you to always feel comfortable reaching out to me. You know your child best and I want us to work together as a team. This is going to be a great school year and I’m looking forward to the adventures ahead!
