Claudia Montemayor
Hello, my name is Claudia Montemayor and this is my 10th year at Timberline. I attended the University of Texas in Arlington and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. I also obtained my teaching certificate ten years ago when I decided to become a teacher. I was born in Bogota, Colombia and my family came to the U.S. when I was two years old. I understand the challenges that our English language learners encounter on a daily basis. I have lived abroad twice in my life; Argentina and Dominican Republic.
I have a fabulous husband Pedro and two beautiful sons Aiden and Liam who are my world. I love to travel, eat, dance, scrapbook, sew and spend time with my family. I love being a part of the Timberline family and working with our amazing students, they are my inspiration. It is going to be a great year of learning for all of us. My goal as a fifth grade teacher is to make sure our Timberline leaders are prepared for an ever changing world.
